'We want giant steps' Healy urges his Linfield side to think big as they prepare for Europa play-off spot

David Healy has urged his Linfield players to ‘finish the job’ tonight – and take the club into a history-making Europa League play-off spot.

The Blues host FK Sutjeska later – 2-1 up from their third round, first leg qualifier in Montenegro.

They are already guaranteed nearly £1m in UEFA prizemoney.

And should they get through tonight’s home leg they will become the first Irish League side to make the Europa League play-offs.

Healy is urging his players to have belief.

“I am now asking these players who wants to come along in this journey – other people talk about baby steps, little steps along the way.

“We want giant steps – as a club and as a manager I want these players to push, to have giant steps because they are certainly good enough.”

If Linfield go through they will face either Qarabag or Apoel Nicosia who play in the Champions League qualifer later.
