Netflix announces House of Guinness series written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight

This sounds like an Irish take on Succession and we cannot wait!

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has just announced his next project House of Guinness, which will air on Netflix.

According to Netflix, the series "will tell the epic story of one of Europe's most famous and enduring dynasties - the Guinness family."

What is House of Guinness about?

House of Guinness will follow the children of Arthur Guinness.

The synopsis reads: “Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story will focus on the consequences of the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his cunning will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the growing juggernaut that is Guinness.”

Who is in House of Guinness?

We don’t have a cast list just yet, but with Steven Knight writing the series, we already know it’s going to have a great line-up.

When will House of Guinness air?

No date has been announced just yet, it’s reported that filming will start this summer.

Steven Knight has also officially CONFIRMED that a Peaky Blinder film is on the way and that Cillian Murphy will be reprising his role as Tommy Shelby for the big screen.

Speaking to Birmingham World at the premiere for his new show, This Town, Steven announced that Cillian would be returning, adding that filming would start in the Autumn 2024 in Birmingham.

He said: "He is definitely returning for it. We’re shooting it in September just down the road in Digbeth." Love to hear it!!
