Our favourite boyband have just gone and announced another huge Ireland show

After a lot of speculation, it has been confirmed that Westlife will play Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh for the first time on Friday August 28 & Saturday August 29.

The Cork concert will form part of a world tour aimed at supporting the band's eleventh studio album 'Spectrum' which is being released on November 8.

Westlife staged a comeback earlier this year with an international tour that saw them play five sold out gigs in Belfast and release new music.

Taking to social media, the band posted: "We're over the moon to announce we’re going to be playing Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork for the first time ever next year!"

"We can’t wait to bring this show to Ireland which will be more spectacular than anything we’ve ever done before."

Tickets for the Páirc Uí Chaoimh gig and Wembley gig will go on sale this Friday, September 20 from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and online.
