We can smell the mini-Dutch pancakes already as the grounds of Belfast City Hall are transformed for the Spring Continental Market this week.

Organised by the same team that brings the Christmas Continental Market to the city, a host of old and new traders will be on display this weekend.

Opening on Wednesday 1st June, visitors can enjoy the same great choice of stalls including ‘foodie favourites’ the Bratwurst sausage and churros, plus lots more.

Belfast City Council explained why the grounds were under construction in a tweet, reading: “City Hall grounds are closed today & tomorrow, ahead of the Spring Continental Market which opens this Wed 1 June.

“Call in over the extended bank holiday weekend & enjoy international food, drinks & crafts from 50+ traders.”

The spring market will be open from:

• 10am to 10pm - Wednesday 1 June to Saturday 4 June

• 12 noon to 6pm on Sunday 5 June

So, if you’re looking something fun to do this bank holiday weekend, why not give the Spring Continental Market a try.
