It's been a long time coming but finally there is a skinny variety of Prosecco and Champagne.

Skinny varieties of drinks have been growing in popularity in recent years, with skinny lattes being a commuter stalwart, whilst a skinny Gin & Tonic is common in bars up and down the country.

Skinny Prosecco is the brainchild of former TV presenter Amanda Thomson who released her product to a selected number of retailers, including Selfridges, Harvey Nicholls and Fenwicks earlier this year.

In fact the product was been so popular that it sold out in days and waiting lists were created, so it's no surprise that Amanda hopes to bring the brand to other popular UK supermarkets early next year.

Skinny Prosecco boasts the same great taste of Prosecco but with just 7g of sugar per litre, that's almost half of a regular bottle!

After developing her Champagne she then went onto create a low sugar alternative to the standard Prosecco which is now available online.
