Online polls seem to suggest that the audience truly divided and they have been since this photo first surfaced back in 2013! Yes the debate has unbelievably been going on for more than three years, of course the interest in the photo has ebbed and flowed, but the answer has always been the same.
The photo was uploaded to the Facebook page Reasons My Son Is Crying on the 19th May 2013 with the caption, "He met Bill Murray. Submitted by: Laura R. Location: St. Andrew’s, Scotland"
It was an instant hit attracting hundreds of comments, many of them saying how it looked like Tom Hanks.
However Laura DiMichele-Ross who uploaded the photo responded.
The latest interest in this photo seems to have been fuelled by Courtney Cox from NBC, not to be confused with the former Friends star Courteney Cox. Courtney is a show researcher for the Today Show and contacted Laura about the photo as they featured it on the American TV show.
