Belfast Central Mission

Cash for Kids are helping the Belfast Central Mission to support their EAGLE project.

The Belfast Central Mission offers support to local children and their families who are affected by autism. Their social care and community projects support those most at need in our society and enable them to reach their full potential. They help the family come to terms with, and understand the disability. They can then help improve each child’s communication skills and give them a better understanding of the world they live in, thereby reducing their frustration.

The funding received from Cash for Kids will support their EAGLE Project (Embracing Autism through Guidance, Love and Education). This project helps to run an after school club for children who have a sibling with autism. This helps the children understand autistic behaviour and encourage them to play and communicate with their sibling. This will also help bring the whole family closer together.
