Gleann Amateur Boxing Club
The children at the Gleann Amateur Boxing Club are looking forward to using their new boxing equipment thanks to Cash for Kids.
Gleann Amateur Boxing Club is a charity and has been involved in boxing in Belfast for almost 10 years now. The club was established as a means for young people in the local area to develop their physical and mental capacity through training and activity. Gleann ABC attracts many members from disadvantaged areas in Belfast. They currently offer regular boxing training for a range of young people as well as young offenders. This grant will buy additional equipment including boxing gloves and head guards, to support the on-going physical and psychological development of young people in the community, primarily from the Glencolin area of Belfast.
