Helping Hands Autism Support Group

Cash for Kids are supporting Helping Hands Support Group with new sensory equipment for their library.

The Helping Hands Support Group supports children, siblings and parents who are suffering from Autism and Aspergers.

They offer weekly play days for families where our children can play without being judged and a library for parents to share books, DVDs and sensory equipment. The Cash for Kids grant will be spent on buying new items for the library including stress balls, aromatherapy, massagers, weight blankets and lights. These aids will help offer the children solutions on how to deal with their conditions in their daily lives. The children Helping Hands support range from both sides of the ASD spectrum but get a lot of encouragement from meeting other children with the same condition.
