Kinship Care
Cash for Kids are supporting Kinship Care with new toys and equipment.
Kinship Care are committed to helping and supporting family relatives who look after children who are unable to live with their parent(s) while helping the children and young people stay connected to their families and communities. The children involved are not able to live with their parents for a number of reasons, neglect, alcohol and drug abuse, exposure to domestic violence or the death of their parents. The Cash for Kids grant will provide equipment to the ‘Kin Together’ self-help group which encourages children and their carers to support one another and enable the children to make friends who are in a similar situation.
