Newry and Mourne Carers
Cash for Kids are helping to support the young carers at the Newry and Mourne group with new equipment
The Newry and Mourne Carer’s (NMC) Young Carer’s Project supports children between 8 – 18 years old and aims to address the difficulties that young carers face. This project provides respite and time out for young people who carry-out substantial duties at home, caring for family members who are sick or disabled.
The Cash for Kids grant will be used to help support the youth club by providing equipment including board games, computer games and sports equipment. This will give the children a chance to have some fun at the weekly youth club.
