Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe reveals VERY unusual name of her newborn son

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe and former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake welcomed their first child into the world back in June and now the pair have revealed their son's name to the world.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, the couple showed off their son for the first time and confirmed they'd decided to call him Daye Colmic Lake.
The actress, who plays the role of Mercedes McQueen in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, revealed she 'made the name up' two years ago when she was traveling to Newcastle to visit her boyfriend Greg, and kept it until she welcomed her first child.
Jennifer also explained that her son's unusual nickname is a mixture of her dad's name Colin and Greg's dad's name Mick. She said, "My dad was called Colin and Greg's dad is Mick. Greg quite likes having the dads' names carry on and I'm not a fan of more than one middle name. I wanted something original."
Jennifer and Greg welcomed baby Daye on 20th June this year, with a rep confirming the news by saying, "We are delighted to announce that our client Jennifer Metcalfe and partner Greg Lake have welcome a baby boy into the world yesterday. Mother and baby are doing fine."
Since then both new parents have kept tight lipped about their son and only posted cute snaps of his hands and feet.
Last month Jennifer was praised by fans when she posted a photo of herself to Instagram showing off her post baby body.
Sharing a snap of herself wearing her bra and knickers whilst posing for a mirror shot, the new mum wrote a long essay telling fans she is 'happy' with her body just four weeks after giving birth, and reminded them they shouldn't 'worry'.
