One Direction fans were literally sent into total meltdown today when the biggest hint yet about the boys return appeared on their official website.
A section appeared on the website labelled ‘future events’ leading fans to believe the boys could be back from their hiatus sooner rather than later.
Of course, eagled-eyed 1D fans were quick to spot the change. Fans took to Twitter to reveal their excitment.
Sadly, it seems whoever added the new 'button' was forced to remove it shortly after as it's now gone. After noticing, fans were quick to share their confusion and disappointment.
The band broke fans hearts at the end of 2015 when they announced they would be taking a well-deserved hiatus from the industry after Zayn Malik decided to leave.
Since then, many of the boys have signed solo deals, leading fans to believe their break may last longer than first expected.
One Direction became world superstars after being put together by Simon Cowell on The X Factor. Despite only finishing third, the band are one of most successful acts to come out of the show.
