Zayn received abuse

Singer Zayn Malik has found himself on the end of some vile, racist and homophobic abuse on Twitter from rapper Azealia Banks.

WARNING: This article contains some strong and abusive language.

The American laid into Zayn after she believed the former One Direction man had copied her work in his new music video for ‘Like I Would’. Azealia believes Zayn has taken influence from her video for her song ‘Yung Rapunxel’.

The rapper didn’t seem to bothered at the apparent similarities at first and posted a picture to her Instagram account with the caption ‘Damn Zayn be mood boarding the f**k out of me. I’m not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie’.

Thinking the tweet was aimed at her, the ‘212’ singer replied saying “Trying to make myself know but I’m still known as the token sand n***a from 1D.”

She then went on to say “Keep sucking this young rapunxel dk you hairy curry scented b*h. Imma start calling you dirty b*h. You a dk rider for real. Ride this d**k until the wheels fall off Punjab”. (sic)

23-year-old Zayn tweeted her back asking ‘Why you been saying nasty things about me?’ and claimed the tweet wasn’t aimed at her.

This seemed to anger the rapper even further and she responded with even more offensive and vile messages.

She said “Do you understand that you are a sand n****r who emulated white boys’ renditions of black male hood?”

Not stopping there, the American decided to go ever further with her insults and began to tweet about British people, as well as claiming Zayn was in fact a refugee.

She wrote “You guys need to implement universal DENTAL care for the UK, before you try to address me. You know the kind with the hard accents, brown teeth and varicose veins who put extra mayo on their toast???"

Up until now, Azealia’s repulsive tweets haven’t been removed by Twitter and the rapper has received tons of backlash for her behaviour.

This isn’t the first time the 24-year-old has taken things too far. In the past she has had Twitter spats with the likes of Rita Ora, Beyoncé and Iggy Azalea.
