Could this perhaps be the BEST FARMING SONG EVER?

If you'd have asked us this question over a year ago, we'd have laughed and wondered what you were on about? But, it looks like lockdown has sent us all a little mad.

Enter Wyl Hallions - three old friends who truly made the most out of lockdown together!

Surprisingly none of these fellas are farmers 🤣

“We hadn't actually seen each other, in a few years. Dave had been touring the world with the Blue Man Group (yes, he was actually one of the blue men), Paul had been living in England and Mark had been travelling with work for a few years (camera man for Top Gear, McLaren etc).”

“Due to the nature of our jobs, it had been impossible to organise a proper catch up. After the pandemic put a halt to all of our work, we collectively found ourselves back in good oul Norn' for the first time in years.”

When restrictions eased earlier this year, the trio met up for a BBQ; it was like they'd never been apart.

"We had a couple of drinks, the guitars came out, then next thing we know it's 4am and we've made a song about farming. We'd joked about how hard it must be to make it in NI as a musician, without hitting the farming/ country scene."

"We woke up the next day to find an email had been sent at 5am to book us into a recording studio. There was no going back!"

The production on this video is superb, the guys worked hard alongside friends Carl Quinn and Conor Ramage to nail it.

“Mark and Paul both work in TV/ Film, so we were fortunate enough to have all the equipment/ knowledge to piece it together ourselves.”

“It was brilliant just to be able to hang out with each other for the first time in years and create this mutual creative outlet! We love the idea of people getting a kick out of the video and song."

"If a 3-minute piece of content can put a smile on someone’s face, and momentarily make them forget about the pretty abysmal year we've all had... that's pretty awesome!”

Well done fellas...it's definitely made us laugh 👏
