Stories involving escaped hamsters don't normally end well, however this one had a very happy and extremely surprising ending!
Twitter user eeveeluti0n posted the hilarious story about a little girl who brought a hamster into the vets.
The exchange starts by saying 'So you know my sister is a veterinary student, She said a little girl brought her hamster in bc (because) it hadn't moved for 3 days and was just sat at the side of the cage and wouldn't eat or drink anything'.
However when they looked at him he was fine and walking round and eating. When they looked inside his pouch they discovered the reason the poor little guy hadn't been able to move...
Turns out the poor little thing had a magnet in his cheek after his latest escape! 🐹
