Maltesers, Minstrels and M&Ms are changing

And it's not good news

We've been noticing the size of chocolate treats reduce and now Mars (who own Minstrels and M&Ms) have announced they are cutting down the size of their snacks for the second time in a year.

Last year Maltesers sharing bags went from 121g to 103g and they are now set to shrink to just 93g.

The Guardian is reporting that family packs of M&Ms are now 25g lighter and Minstrels are 10% lighter, however the cost will stay the same.

Mars have stated that this is not a decision they take easily and that they have been absorbing operational costs for a while.

We guess the only good thing about this is that now we won't feel as guilty after eating a whole sharing bag to ourselves!
