Geordie Shore fans were excited this morning when the new trailer for series 14 landed, but their feelings soon changed after they'd watched it.

Some angry fans of the show have slammed bosses and called the trailer 'insensitive' towards former cast member Charlotte Crosby after she went through a tragic ectopic pregnancy.

The new trailer shows cast member Gaz Beadle 'giving birth' to the eight new members of the show, with the caption 'The family is getting bigger'.

Fans were quick to criticise the new trailer, one Instagram user wrote, 'Wow @gazgshore giving birth... bit insensitive to Charlotte don't you think?'

Another added, 'Not sure if you guys could be more insensitive?' with a third writing, 'Ugh, such poor taste... poor Charlotte.'

Charlotte tragically went through an ectopic pregnancy last year after discovering she was expecting ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle's baby.

Opening up to heat magazine at the time, Charlotte said, "I didn't know what the hell was going on and I was in so much pain. Then the X-ray showed how much damage had been caused. Because I'd left it a week, it'd torn open my fallopian tube and I was bleeding internally. He said: 'If you'd have left it any longer, you could have died.''

The trailer in question is to promote series 14 of Geordie Shore: New Radgie Rampage which starts on MTV on Tuesday 28th March.

As well as returning cast members including Gaz Beadle, Marnie Simpson, Sophie Kasaei, Chloe Ferry, Aaron Chalmers, Nathan Henry, Marty McKenna and Scotty T, eight new faces have been brought in as 'workers'.

The new faces, including Ex On The Beach's Zahida Allen, will have to prove they have what it takes to be the 'radgiest' of all and earn their place in the Geordie Shore house.

The new series airs on MTV on Tuesday 28th March.
