I'm A Celeb: Arlene Phillips reveals what happened when the celebs were REMOVED

This year's cast were removed from the castle

With having to host this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in North Wales and not Australia due to the ongoing pandemic, it's safe to say bosses were prepped to have to deal with some challenges.

HOWEVER, they didn't expect to have to remove all of this year's celebrities due to the weather! For the first time in the show's history, I'm A Celeb was taken off air for three days last week, due to Storm Arwen causing chaos around Gwrych Castle.

All 12 celebs were taken out of the castle for safety reasons, with hosts Ant & Dec confirming they didn't have access to phones, internet or TVs.

Now, following her departure from the show on Sunday night (5th December), Dame Arlene Phillips has revealed exactly what they got up to during those chaotic days.

Speaking on Monday (6th December) morning's Good Morning Britain, the 78-year-old said: "We definitely didn’t get our phones back, I wish. The only thing we had to watch was Netflix, no news, no family contact, nothing.

"We spent a day in the castle, we didn’t know where we were going to go, what was going to happen.

"We got taken into separate houses, we were given some food. For me it was a blessing in disguise. It was weird being in isolation."
