Vicky Pattison has came a long way since first appearing on our TV screens on reality show Geordie Shore, and despite losing her reputation as a 'party girl', the 29-year-old received some harsh comments during her last presenting role.

After impressing bosses of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here when she won the show in 2015, Vicky landed her dream job in the form of a presenting role on the spin-off show I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp alongside Joe Swash, Stacey Solomon and Chris Ramsey.

Despite gaining an army of fans on the show, Vicky was the victim to some harsh online abuse which led to the reality star breaking down in tears after the show.

Describing the role as the hardest thing she's ever done, Vicky told a national newspaper how reading the negative comments about herself every night left her in tears.

She said, "Presenting Extra Camp was the hardest thing I've ever done. I broke down in floods of tears every night reading all the comments."

"People were calling me a horrible fat cow, a bad role model, a s--- TV presenter. It affected my confidence. I came off after the first night and looked on Twitter and phoned my boyfriend in absolute hysterics."

Vicky was trolled on Twitter when she mistakenly called the show Xtra Factor instead of Extra Camp. Despite dealing with it brilliantly on air and finding the funny side on Twitter after the show, Vicky later admitted she couldn't escape the criticism from viewers.

Despite the tears and online criticism, the former Queen of the jungle also admitted she'd love to return to present Extra Camp when the popular reality show returns later in the year.

She added, "In retrospect I'm so proud of what we achieved."

Meanwhile rumours have already started to circulate as to who could be joining the show for the 2017 series.
