Belsonic 2023 Guide: Stage times & important info

You know it’s summer when construction is under way along the Ormeau Embankment, that can mean one thing - Belsonic!

Ten exciting acts will take to the stage this June, performing to 20,000 fans each night.

Worldwide superstars like Lionel Richie and Lizzo are coming to Belfast! There's also Geordie lad Sam Fender, George Ezra and The Prodigy on the bill.

Tickets for some of the gigs are still available from ticketmaster.ie so be sure to check it out.

What time do gates open for each artist?

Gates open at 6pm so please do arrive on site until close to that time. Curfew is usually around 11pm but individual set times will be posted on social media the day of the event, we'll keep you up-to-date.

Where can you park at Belsonic?

Organisers are advising those attending the gigs to use public transport as there are NO parking facilities at the site.

What will the weather be like for Belsonic?

It looks like we might be in some for some scorching gigs this June!

According to forecasters, Saturday's opening show with Lionel Richie will stay warm, dry and sunny.

The UK is likely to see a continuation of the recent dry weather for much of the start of June.

Food & drink at Belsonic

There will be a number of food and drink outlets across the site at Ormeau Park each show. Most take contactless cards payments.

You are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks inside the park.

Lionel Richie

International superstar Lionel Richie has a discography of albums and singles that are second to none. His music is part of the fabric of pop music with more than 125 million albums sold worldwide. He announced a very special outdoor performance for 2023 at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Saturday 3rd June with very special guests The Human League.

George Ezra

BRIT Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling musician George Ezra has today announced a return to Belfast with a headline show at Belsonic, Ormeau Park on Friday 9 June 2023.
George recently performed in Belfast to a sold-out SSE Arena, so if you missed out on tickets for that you won't have long to wait.

David Guetta - SOLD OUT

Global superstar DJ David Guetta has announced a return to Belfast with a headline show at Belsonic, Ormeau Park, Belfast on Saturday 10th June 2023.

Tom Jones

Legendary Welsh singer and performer Sir Tom Jones has announced a return to Belfast with his biggest Irish headline show to date at Belsonic, Ormeau Park, Belfast on Friday 16th June 2023.


Sir Tom Jones continues to sustain his popularity around the world, captivating audiences with his timeless discography of hit songs and enduring talent and charisma.

Paolo Nutini - SOLD OUT

Following a SOLD-OUT Custom House Square show earlier this summer, Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini returns next year to play his largest ever Belfast show at Belsonic, Ormeau Park on Saturday June 17th 2023.
His music catalogue has so far brought him eight million global album sales, his last three albums all had hugely successful songs, including hits like 'New Shoes', 'Last Request', and 'Candy'.

Lizzo

Global superstar Lizzo has announced a very special outdoor Belsonic performance for 2023 at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Thursday 22nd June. A 3x GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and so much more, Lizzo has shifted the sound, soul, and spirit of popular music and culture.

Sam Fender - SOLD OUT

Following the news of two sold out stadium shows at Newcastle's St. James' Park, Sam Fender has announced his biggest ever Belfast date for next summer at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Friday 23rd June 2023.
Sam has made serious waves in the music industry since his debut single 'Play God' in back 2017 - and now, his second album is taking the world by storm, with huge tracks such as 'Seventeen Going Under' and 'Spit of You'.

Ben Nicky

International DJ / Producer sensation Ben Nicky is pleased return to Belsonic at Ormeau Park on Saturday 24th June with one of the biggest electronic line-ups of the year!


Following his recent Belsonic sell out in 2021 and two SOLD-OUT CHSq shows in 2022, Ben will be Joined on the night by Ben Hemsley, Billy Gillies, David Rust, Fionn Curran and N-trance.

Florence and the Machine

London pop rock outfit Florence + the Machine are pleased to return to Belfast to play their largest ever Irish show at Belsonic, Ormeau Park on Wednesday June 28th 2023.
Florence first burst onto the scene in 2009 with their debut album Lungs which quickly became one of the biggest-selling albums of the year with songs like 'Kiss with a Fist', 'Dog Days Are Over', and others proving incredibly popular in the UK charts.

The Prodigy

The Prodigy has announced a very special outdoor performance for 2023 at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Friday 30th June 2023 with special guest, Andy C. Following the bands incendiary and emotionally charged sellout tour of the UK last July, their first since Keith Flint passed away in March 2019, the band knew it was the right time for them to bring their unstoppable live performance back to the outdoor festival stages next summer.
