Gary Lightbody treating fans to a special Instagram live gig tonight
It's to help pass the time for fans who are self-isolating
After a week of festival and tour date postponement announcements across the music industry and public gathering limitations over coronavirus concerns, Gary Lightbody is planning something special for his fans.
The Snow Patrol frontman is putting on a live acoustic gig of requested songs on Thursday night on the band's Instagram @snowpatrol.
In advance of the live stream, he's taken to Twitter to ask fans for song suggestions.
Other musicians have been getting on board with the at home concerts including Coldplay's Chris Martin and John Legend.
