Rory McIlroy has kept his Masters dream alive with a -1 Day Two finish in Augusta.

He is currently in joint 36th place - seven shots behind the leading pack - a five-way tie between Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, Francesco Molinari, Jason Day and Brooks Koepka.

McIlroy remains upbeat about his chances first of all of making the cut - and then going all out to win the major that has so far eluded him.

If he manages to win, he will join a small elite group who have won career grand slams.

McIlroy begins his third round just after 4 (BST) - paired with Marc Leishman.
