Rocco is a 6-year-old boy from Tranent. He suffers from Cerebral Palsy and needs round the clock care and attention to help him with the most basic of daily tasks such as sitting and standing.

In May 2015 Rocco underwent double hip reconstruction in hope that the operation could improve his leg, hip and pelvis structure. The operation was a success and Rocco has come a long way with physiotherapists delighted by his improved strength.

Going forward from his operation, Louise, Rocco’s mum, wanted to add more light to his increased mobility by purchasing a specialised tricycle for him to ride. Having found a one-of-a-kind tricycle that was perfect for Rocco’s needs she was desperate to put it on his Christmas list but simply couldn't afford it.

Louise knew how much of a difference the trike would make in improving Rocco's condition and turned to Forth 1's Cash for Kids for help.
