As part of our Sports challenge campaign, City Star Majorettes were awarded a top up prize of £5,000.
City star Majorettes raised a whopping £12,183.51, plus winning first place they took the top up funding of £5,000 from our partners Mowi Scotland ...
They didn't stop there, they also took the social media award for great use amongst parents, highlighting different fundraising and what they were getting up too. That means the total amount raised to support the children who attend City Star was £17,683.51
The money will support them through a challenging time like everyone in this cost of living crisis. It means they can keep funds low and pay for all the equipment needed to compete. As a HUGE bonus they can now can feel more relaxed about financial costs for competitions in 2023 too!
Well done to all at City Star Majorettes, you shone bright like we know you will in your upcoming competitions.
