The Forth Awards with St James Quarter returned in 2022 for another incredible afternoon with the stars. At the fun-filled award show, we celebrated legendary names in music and entertainment, as well as local heroes who are making a difference across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, and Falkirk.

What are the Forth Awards?

The event recognises those living in our community as well as some of the biggest names in music and entertainment today.

The event is a day full of fun, entertainment, and celebration of outstanding achievements across our local community.

When are the Forth Awards taking place?

In 2022, the Forth Awards took place on Thursday 23rd June at the Usher Hall.

We'll announce the next Forth Awards closer to the time, so keep an eye out!

What time did the 2022 Forth Awards start?

Doors opened at 2.30pm and the award show started at 3pm and ran until 5.30pm.

Where are the Forth Awards held?

This year, our amazing award show was held is The Usher Hall on Lothian Road in Edinburgh.

How can I get tickets to Forth Awards 2022?

Tickets for the Forth Awards 2022 have now sold out. Tickets for the next Forth Awards will go on sale ahead of the event, keep an eye out for updates on our website and social media pages.

How can I buy a table for the Forth Awards?

Tickets for tables of 10 at the Forth Awards included a three-course meal and coffee, a glass of fizz upon arrival, early access to our charity auction, and access to the full awards show.

Table tickets are now sold out.

Who hosted the Forth Awards 2022?

Forth 1 breakfast show presenters Boogie and Arlene hosted this year's event!

Who performed at Forth Awards 2022?

The line-up was kept a secret until the day of the event, with previous Forth Awards including performances from the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Paolo Nutini, James Blunt, Simple Minds, Amy MacDonald, and Olly Murs.

This year we saw incredible performances from Vula, Callum Beattie, The Eves, Wet Wet Wet, Tony Hadley, and Heather Small.

Who won awards at the Forth Awards 2022?

We had an incredible time awarding the well-deserved winners, take a look through who won which award below.

The Forth Charity Volunteer of the Year Award with Newtown Refurbishments - Keith Armour

Keith was given this award to celebrate his incredible charity work. Since 2016, Keith has raised over £315,000 for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
Keith doesn't currently work as he is the primary carer for his 7 year old daughter who is type 1 diabetic and he also suffers with depression and anxiety.
Keith has also raised funds and awareness for: Marie Curie, Smile for Life, Make a Wish and he volunteers at Dogs Trust West Calder too.
Keith also runs a mental health group called Reach Out Talk Out in Livingston, which offers peer support groups for men and women.
In 2017 Keith was recognised by the Prime Minister Theresa May for his charity work by being appointed with a Points of Light Award. Then in 2019 Keith was invited to 10 Downing Street to meet Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The Forth Best Teacher Award with Fuse - Emma St Clair

Emma has made a hugley positive impact while teaching at Colinton Primary School for over 30 years. She encourages by example, has an incredible way of building confidence and always makes learning fun.
Throughout her career, Emma has been the 'soil' to the children she teaches where she has nourished, nurtured and protected them as well as feeding them with the knowledge and skills they need to survive in life. She is well-thought of by the whole-school community
One of the entries on her nomination said 'She is a phenomenal person who loves the job she does and the kids love her in return.'

The Forth Best Artist Award with Victor Paris - Callum Beattie

Scottish singer Callum Beattie put on a spectacular performance at Forth Awards 2022 and also picked up The Forth Best Artist Award with Victor Paris Bathrooms!

The Forth Fringe Award with Multrees Walk - Daniel Sloss

Comedian Daniel Sloss joined us at the Forth Awards with St James Quarter to collect The Forth Fringe Award with Multrees Walk!


He was awarded by fellow comedian Craig Hill!

he Forth Cash For Kids Award with Newtown Decor - Paul Hunter

Paul Hunter won The Forth Cash For Kids Award with Newtown Decor for his amazing fundraising work for the charity over the years!

The Forth Best Restaurant Award with Heritage Portfolio - Prahna Indian Grill

The Forth Best Restaurant Award with Heritage Portfolio went to Prahna Indian Grill!
As well as serving up rustic Indian cuisine to Scotland's capital, they provided free food to vulnerable people and nearly 3,000 free meals to NHS staff during the pandemic.

The Forth Visitor Attraction Award with Media Works - Edinburgh Zoo

The Forth Visitor Attraction Award with Media Works went to Edinburgh Zoo! The award was presented by Cat Harvey and accepted by Lisa Robshaw on behalf of the zoo.

The Forth Local Hero Award with Edinburgh Evening New - Steven Carr

Founder and chairman of Dnipro Kids, Steven Carr, picked up The Forth Local Hero Award with Edinburgh Evening News at the Forth Awards 2022 for the commendable work he has done to help Ukrainian orphans through the charity.

The Forth Icon Awards with Edinburgh Playhouse - Tony Hadley

Singer Tony Hadley wowed us with a fantastic performance and also bagged The Forth Icon Awards with Edinburgh Playhouse while at the Forth Awards!

The Forth Music Recognition Award with The Liquid Rooms - Heather Small

Music legend Heather Small picked up The Forth Music Recognition Award with The Liquid Rooms, and closed the Forth Awards 2022 with St James Quarter with an unbelievable show!

Is there parking at the Usher Hall?

Parking is limited, with some on-street paid parking on Lothian Road and paid parking nearby. There are free parking spaces for blue badge holders close to the venue. You can find out more about parking facilities at the Usher Hall on their website.

The venue is a few minutes walk from Princes Street, with lots of bus connections stopping nearby. It is a 15-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station and there are also bike racks outside if you choose to cycle.

Were 2020 tickets still valid for Forth Awards 2022?

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we unfortunately had to postpone our 2020 and 2021 award shows, and tickets from these dates were still valid for the 2022 event.
