80s favourite Fraggle Rock to return later this year

The 80s TV favourite Fraggle Rock will be returning to the small screen later this year according to deadline.com
The digitally remastered show will be returning to HBO, the network where it was originally broadcast, over 30 years since it first started.
Fraggle Rock was originally aired in between 1983 and 1987 and will be making a fully HD appearance on HBO having been lovingly remastered with a team sharpening the images, cleaning up the contrast and re-formatting it for widescreen.
Fraggle Rock was loved by those who grew up in the 80s and the hope is that the series will engage a whole new audience now.
The TV series followed the lives of the Fraggles, the Doozers and the Gorgs, with each episode featuring original songs.

Fraggle Rock's 96 episodes were phenomenally popular being shown in nearly 100 countries around the world.
There is no word yet if it will be shown in the UK.
