Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has shown her support for new parents Cheryl and Liam Payne after they made the decision to keep their newborn son out of the limelight.
Since announcing the birth of their son in March with a cute snap of Liam cradling the little one, both Cheryl and Liam are yet to share any more photos and are yet to reveal his name, keeping their family life private.
Fans of the couple have been begging the pair on social media to share more details about baby Payne, and now Cheryl's celebrity friend Amanda Holden has supported their decision by admitting she can understand their determination.
Speaking in her column for Fabulous Magazine, Amanda said, "I can understand their determination to keep their son firmly out of the limelight for now. It’s natural to feel really protective as a new mum, and just want to enjoy this special time in private."
New dad Liam took a break from father duties over the weekend to enjoy a game of basketball in his back garden.
The former One Direction singer posted a snap to his 13.2 million Instagram followers of himself throwing a basketball into a hoop.
Fans were quick to comment on the new snap, asking Liam how his son is doing, with some asking what they have decided to call him.
Meanwhile Amanda Holden is gearing up for the brand new series of Britain's Got Talent which hits our TV screens on Saturday 15th April. The new series will be Amanda's 11th year on the show after joining when it first aired back in 2006.
Amanda will re-join Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon on the judging panel, with popular duo Ant and Dec returning to host the show.
