Alex chats to Duke Dumont and A.M.E. who features on his hit song, Need U (100%)
When Alex asked Duke what his mobile phone background is, he replied, "Actually my Blackberry is actually broken so I can't see the background on my screen. The only thing I can do on my phone is receive phone calls. I can't even make any!" AME responded, "This is so embarrassing, mine is a picture of my boyfriend!" Alex asked how the pair got together for the single. Duke said, "I came in with the instrumental then I was looking for a really strong vocalist and that's when we reached out to AME. Then history was made" On the 80s style of the track, AME said, "My music is heavily influenced by the 80s and 90s so it was cool to add this little flavour. We were channeling Janet Jackson!" Speaking about the video, Duke said, "I was involved quite heavily with the video but we made a conscious decision at the beginning not to feature in the video because the last thing I wanted was that stereotypical music video with the producer/DJ standing behind the decks."
