Ellie Goulding and McFly's Dougie Poynter rumoured to be on a break
After being together two years
According to sources Ellie Goulding and McFly’s Dougie Poynter are apparently taking a break from their two year relationship.
It's said to be due to their busy schedules with a source revealing that, “Their work commitments have meant they have been spending more and more time away from each other and it has made it difficult to maintain their relationship.
“They are both very sad that things have hit a rough patch, but are trying to see if a little distance can help them get through it.”
The pair were first linked together after they were spotted leaving the 2013 Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards.
There was even a hint they could get married as when Dougie was asked in the summer if wedding bells were on the cards he simply said, “Well... I don't want to say too much. It would ruin the surprise.”
Neither have confirmed the news.
