Alex James spoke to Jason Derulo on Wednesday night

If you missed the interview, you can hear it all again here, including Jason talking about coming back from his accident last year, his girlfriend Jordin Sparks, and his new single The Other Side.

In early 2012, Jason broke a bone in his neck after missing a landing on a dance routine. Doctors said he could have been left paralyzed and the singer said himself at the time he was lucky to be alive.

Speaking to Alex about the accident, Jason said, "It was a very crazy experience. I remember it, sometimes I have flashbacks. I do a lot of acrobatics so sometimes there will be a weird moment where it comes right back.

"When you're on a high, when you're riding a wave and suddenly it stops, it's the worst feeling in the world. It was hard to not be able to tie my shoes or fend for myself, but very humbling at the same time."

Jason also talks about his upcoming new album and drops some hints as to who he has been collaborating with on it.
