Alex James spoke to Jessie J for In:Demand on Tuesday night

Jessie talked about the mammoth £75 million she raised for Comic Relief, how people are reacting to her short hair and her new single Wild.

Speaking about the hair, Jessie said, "Two years ago I used to wear wigs and a lot of people still think I'm wearing wigs but The Voice was pre-recorded, it was last year, before I shaved my head! So I haven't worn a wig on any day since I shaved my head."

"It feels great, I feel very liberated and I'm reminded why I did it every time I look in the mirror."

When Alex asked about how her new song Wild, Jessie said, "We basically just started writing about my life. All the papers writing stuff and making up stuff it gets to you and sometimes the most powerful thing you can do as an artist is not Tweet and not get upset but write a song that lasts forever."

"That's kind of what it was and it was me thanking my fans for always picking me up and I still feel like it's a dream. When I'm on stage at Wembley and I'm like 'Woah! Three years ago no one knew me'."
