It's been a crazy year for Love Island 2017 star Gabby Allen. After leaving the Love Island villa in 2017 loved-up with former Blazin' Squad member Marcel Somerville, things seemed to be going well... that was until Marcel CHEATED on Gabby whilst the pair were on holiday together.

After getting over her heartbreak, Gabby entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in the summer and later started a romance with X Factor 2017 winner, Rak-Su's Myles Stephenson.

As their relationship heats up, rumours about a potential engagement have been swirling, with fans getting very excited for the pair. Now, in response to the new rumours, Gabby's ex-boyfriend Marcel has responded, revealing exactly how he feels.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Marcel said, "She was happy and she’s happy now. I’ve heard about she’s talking of getting engaged and stuff."

The singer also revealed that he's 'made up' with Gabby after he cheated on her whilst they were on holiday together.

Revealing they had a hug and chatted, Marcel said, "We made up, we had a hug and chatted for a little bit. We both realised it was probably for the best we went our separate ways. I think having the conversation afterwards, we both said things were going in a certain direction, and it’s not the best way that it happened."

Gabby and Marcel were inseparable when they first met inside the Love Island villa in 2017, but like most couples who meet on the show, when they got out into the real world, things didn't work out.

After discovering Marcel cheated on her, Gabby took to social media to write, 'Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, love and support. It's been a tough couple of days, i think i might be in a bit of shock! But i'm sure in time i will be ok. i have the best family and friends around me. I'm a lucky girl.' sic

But now it looks like Gabby is VERY happy with Myles! 😍😍😍
