Bosses have revealed that Rosie Webster will be back on the cobbles in February 2017 when she surprises her parents following a trip away with her sister Sophie.

Although details of her return are being kept quiet, Coronation Street producer Kate Oates said, “The Webster's have missed Rosie and so have we. With Sophie away on holiday with her sister it seemed like the ideal time to bring Rosie back home with her for a visit. We are delighted that Helen is as keen explore what Rosie has been up to away from the cobbles as we are.”

Actress Helen left the soap back in 2012 to star in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and has since started a family with footballer Scott Sinclair.

Helen and Scott welcomed daughter Matilda back in June 2015.

Helen first appeared on Coronation Street in January 2000 before leaving in 2012, since her appearance on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, the actress has appeared on a number of TV shows including Holby City, Celebrity Super Spa and Celebrity Wedding Planner.

The news of Helen's return comes just weeks after it was announced that Georgia Taylor would be returning to the show to reprise her role of Toyah Battersby after 13 years.
