TOWIE’s Jon Clark rushed to hospital as cast film Christmas special

It was all fun and games for the TOWIE cast filming their Christmas special until cast member Jon Clark had to be rushed to A&E following a nasty fall whilst ice skating.
Jon was filming alongside the likes of Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows at an ice rink in Essex when he fell over and hit his head. Photos from the scene show the Clark brother being taken away by paramedics on a stretcher.
A fan of the show witnessed the incident and told a national newspaper, “I was sitting in the car park eating some fish and chips and scrolling through Snapchat when I saw a post from him saying he'd hurt himself. He said he was on gas and air and that he'd been filming for the TOWIE Christmas special.”

A spokesman for the Ambulance Service later confirmed the unfortunate incident. They said, "We were called at 1.17pm to a man believed to be in his 20s with a head injury. We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance. The patient was assisted at the scene and taken to Broomfield Hospital for extra checks.”
Jon has since taken to Twitter to assure fans he is ok after the fall and is now recovering. Uploading a snap of himself on the ice, Jon jokingly wrote, ‘Before it all went wrong #TOWIE’.
Following the explosive season finale of TOWIE, we can’t for the Christmas special to air on ITVBe in December.
