Band announced new music for 2017

It's been a big day for Coldplay fans as the band have announced a brand new EP called Kaleidoscope for 2017. It's exciting news, as there had been concern that the band's last album, A Head Full of Dreams, was going to be their last record.

Lead singer Chris Martin had alluded in the past that the album and the subsequent tour could be their last, saying 'this is the completion of something.'

But speaking to our Entertainment Team a couple of weeks ago at an exclusive gig at London's Paladium Theatre, Chris teased about what to expect from the band's new music.

'If you like our band you'll really like it', he teased.

'It's good Coldplay. In fact i'd say it's really good Coldplay', he added.

And talking about the reasons behind releasing an EP, which is usually a handful of songs, rather than an album, Chris said, 'that's where I think this is going, and it ties into this album **A Head Full of Dreams**'
