It overtakes Justin Bieber's 'Baby'
Psy’s international smash hit ‘Gangnam Style’ is now the most viewed YouTube video of all time.
Since mid-July the South Korean pop stormer has amassed an astonishing 824million views to take the all-time crown.
The gloriously bonkers K-pop anthemsurpassed the previous record holder, Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’, on Saturday morning and has been building on its lead over the past two days.
At the time of writing ‘Gangnam Style’ has clocked up 824,665,713 views compared to Bieber’s 805,287,672.
What makes ‘Gangnam Style’s feat even more impressive is that it took just four months to reach it’s impressive tally compared to ‘Baby’s 21 months.
Psy tweeted on Saturday: "#GangnamStyle just became the most watched video @YouTube!! #History"
It’s widely expected that ‘Gangnam Style’ will be the first video to smash the 1billion view barrier on YouTube.
