Andy Halliday seals move to Motherwell from Hearts

Andy Halliday has completed his move from Hearts to Motherwell.
The midfielder's contract at Tynecastle is due to expire this summer and he has opted to make the move to Fir Park.
He will join on an initial loan deal until the end of the season before signing a permanent one-year deal.
The 32-year old joined Hearts from Rangers in 2020 and established himself as a regular with the Jambos.
Halliday helped the Gorgie side gain promotion back to the Premiership during his first season and also featured for them in two Scottish Cup finals.
However, chances have been limited under current boss Steven Naismith.
He becomes Stuart Kettlewell's second signing of the season after acquiring the services of Adam Montgomery on loan from Celtic.
Kettlewell told the club's official website: “I’m delighted we have been able to get Andy on board.
“There was other clubs interested in Andy so the fact he has came here, says a lot for me.
“To get a player with the ability, experience and versatility that Andy possesses is a huge positive for us. It will give everyone a boost going into our next match.”
He could make his debut in Saturday's Scottish Cup tie at home to Alloa Athletic.
