Research found the town has the most romantically named roads relative to its number of streets.

Boogie in the Morning revealed that Bonnyrigg is the most romantic town in Great Britain. Research by Mills & Boon and A-Z Maps found that the Midlothian town has the most romantically named roads relative to it's number of streets. The study searched for street names with words associated with Valentine's Day - Love, Rose, Diamond, Bride, Groom etc.

Relative to it's number of roads, Bonnyrigg has the highest proportion of romantically named streets in Great Britain with 10 road names containing the word 'rose'.
Due to the size of the city, London has the most 'romantic streets' with 0.1% of all streets having a passionate flair to them however, Bonnyrigg has a whopping 5% of all streets named after something romantic.

In the whole of Great Britain, the most popular passionate street names were Love Lane, Rose Avenue and Rose Street.
