Brentford have agreed a fee to buy Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer, according to reports.

The 23-year old has made it clear he wants to leave the club this summer and it looks as if he could finally be getting his move.

Ange Postecoglou has been rebuilding his squad this summer and said last week the future of the Norwegian international was out of his hands.

The Telegraph are now reporting Premier League newcomers Brentford have agreed a £13.5million deal.

On his Celtic future last month, Ajer said: “With one year left of my contract, that would be the best solution for me and my club. Something is going to happen this summer.

"There are of course many rumours. Right now it's just rumours. I have one year left on my contract with Celtic and I relate to it, but something will probably happen this summer.

"I have one year left and will be loyal to the club. For both me and Celtic to get the best possible starting point, it probably makes sense that it happens this year".

Celtic have already made three signings this summer with Sheffield Wednesday duo Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide coming in alongside Israel winger Liel Abada.

The Hoops are also expected to seal a deal in the region of £4.5million for Swedish defender Carl Starfelt.
