Edinburgh comedian, Iain Stirling - best known as the voice of Love Island - is to record a one hour stand-up special at the city's King's Theatre for Amazon Prime.

It'll be part of his new stand-up show Failing Upwards which he's touring around the UK next year.

His act will be captured across two performances on the 29th March before it is made available through the streaming service later in 2020.

The show will explore topics including his inability to function in the most basic of public settings, social media’s constant pressure to “live your best life” and on a time a man stole his shoes.

Iain’s recent stand-up show 'U Ok Hun?x' sold out the entire Edinburgh Festival Fringe in advance of it opening and the subsequent national tour was twice extended
