Man from Essex goes missing on stag-do in Edinburgh

Police says the disappearance of Adam Smith, 37, is out of character.

A man from Essex has gone missing while on a stag-do with his friends in Edinburgh.

Adam Smith, 37, was last seen at the Three Sisters pub on the Cowgate at about 12.45am on Saturday morning (22nd July).

He then didn't return to his accommodation in Gilmore Place.

He is about 6ft 2-3ins tall, with short blonde hair that is normally slicked back and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved burgundy shirt and light blue jeans.

Sergeant Mark Barry said: "This behaviour is out of character for Adam and we're growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"We'd urge anyone who may have seen Adam since this time, or has any information on his whereabouts, to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
