Hibernian left-back Marijan Cabraja is leaving Easter Road after just a season in Scotland.

He's returning to Croatia to sign for top-flight side HNK Rijeka.

Hibs say the terms of the deal for the 26-year-old will remain undisclosed, but have revealed they'll benefit from a sell-on clause.

The defender joined the club last Summer, signing from Dinamo Zagreb.

During his year-long spell, Marijan helped the Club finish in a European position going on to make 26 appearances in all competitions.

Defensively he also helped the Club keep seven clean sheets and chipped in with one assist, setting up Mykola Kuharevich away at Dundee United.

On the defender’s departure, Hibernian FC Manager Lee Johnson commented: “We’d like to thank Marijan for all his hard work and dedication.

“This transfer works well for both of us and allows Marijan to compete back in his homeland, Croatia. We wish him all the best for the future.”
