Police share pictures of man in suit and tie following assault on board Edinburgh bus

Police Scotland are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who was wearing a suit and tie after an assault onboard an Edinburgh bus in December.

The incident took place near Inverleith Gardens on the number 9 Lothian bus at around 4.20pm on Saturday 9 December.

Police have released images of the man they are seeking to help in their enquiries.

Aged between 25 to 30 years old, he is described as white, of slim build with brown hair. He was wearing a dark grey suit and a purple tie at the time.

Constable Rachael McIntyre of Police Scotland appealed to the general public for help. “I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to contact us as soon as possible,” she said.
