Teenager charged following several housebreakings and car thefts in East Lothian

He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday

A 19-year-old man has been charged following several housebreakings and car thefts across East Lothian.

Eight locations were targeted on separate occasions between 16 Thursday and 19 November 2023.

The places hit were Beveridge Links, Dunbar, Knowesley Park, Haddington, Meetinghouse Drive, Tranent and Stoneyhill Avenue, Musselburgh.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
