Teenager who died from serious injuries in Edinburgh named
A 19-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the death of Lewis McCartney

A teenager who died after being found with serious injuries in Edinburgh has be named as 18-year-old Lewis McCartney,
The 18-year-old was found on Viewcraig Street in the early hours of Sunday morning (12th February)
He was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh but died a short time later
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
He is due appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday 15th February.
Detective Inspector George Calder, of the Major Investigation Team, said: "Our thoughts are very much with Lewis’ family and friends. They’ve asked their privacy be respected at this very difficult time.
