Three arrests after heroin worth £200,000 seized in Edinburgh

Two women, aged 19 and 42, and a 20-year-old man are due to appear in court at a later date

Three people have been arrested and charged after heroin worth a six-figure sum was recovered within a flat in Edinburgh.

The Class A drug was seized by officers when they raided the property in Magdalene Way on Tuesday evening.

Edinburgh residents threatened with knife on doorstep

Two women, aged 19 and 42, and a 20-year-old man were released on an undertaking to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
