Commuters are bracing themselves for another day of strike action.

Commuters across Scotland are facing another day of travel chaos on the railways as the second in a series of strikes takes place.

A number of key services will be cancelled or reduced.

The RMT union is in dispute with Scotrail in a row over the role of guards on trains.

The cancelled services in our area are: - Edinburgh – Dunbar

  • Edinburgh – Aberdeen/Dyce/Inverurie
  • Edinburgh – Alloa (a limited Edinburgh – Dunblane service will operate)
  • North Berwick/Edinburgh – Glasgow Central/Ayr via Motherwell and Carstairs (Glasgow – Ayr services will operate as normal; North Berwick - Edinburgh has a reduced service)
  • Anniesland/Falkirk Grahamston

A replacement bus service will be running instead of the Glasgow Central - Edinburgh via Shotts route.
