A taxi driver who died after an argument in Dalkeith is being described as a much loved, partner, father, grandfather and brother.

A taxi driver who died after an argument in Dalkeith is being described as a much loved, partner, father, grandfather and brother. Thomas Milligan, 55, passed away in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after an incident on Lauder Road at around 1.20am on Sunday. In a statement issued via Police Scotland, they said: "Tam was a very much loved partner, father, grandfather and brother who will be sadly missed. "He devoted his time to his work being a driving instructor and taxi driver. He loved socialising with his friends on a Sunday afternoon at the local pub and enjoyed listening to music. "The family request to be left alone at this difficult time to come to terms with their loss". A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
