Spaniel killed and dog euthanised during attack in Dunblane

Officers are appealing for information on the incident, which happened in Braemar Park

Officers are appealing for information after a spaniel was killed in a dog attack in a park in Perthshire.

Two dogs attacked the pet which subsequently died, and one of the attacking dogs was put down.

It happened around 1330 on Monday 11 March in the Braemar Park area.

Police have not released information about the breed of dogs which attacked the spaniel.

Enquiries remain ongoing and officers are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the second dog involved.
